As a co-owner of Found In Wisconsin and a staple in the Wisconsin community, Alisa Bashaw has been a driving force behind covering local events, promoting businesses, and bringing national attention to Wisconsin’s vibrant culture since 2008. Her contributions span everything from interviewing local and national bands to shining a light on the businesses that shape our local economy. Now, it’s our turn to show up for Alisa as she embarks on a deeply personal and challenging journey—her battle against cancer.
Alisa is not only a dedicated journalist but also a proud, diehard fan of Wisconsin’s beloved Packers, Bucks, and Brewers. For years, she has channeled her passion and energy into lifting others through her work. Already enduring a Brain Surgery earlier this year, she is now facing even another battle. As she faces this new chapter, we’re still uncertain how her fight may impact Found In Wisconsin, but we know that the priority is clear: Alisa’s health and, hopefully, her victory over cancer.
