Big Al Capones’ – Pipe, WI (2/6)

Big Al Capone’s, the former Furhman’s Hotel built in 1846, was recently recognized as the #3 Oldest Bar in Wisconsin still in operation and is a State Historical Landmark. The Hotel was a stagecoach stop and in the 20’s, legend has it notorious gangster, Al Capone, stayed here frequently.
There have been reports of lights flickering on and off, pizza pans flying, bathroom doors opening, and much more. The general opinion is that it may be one of or both of 2 women that have said to have died at this old hotel now turned bar/restaurant. The stories are of 2 different women….one being pushed out a 3rd story window and 1 dying in a fire that took place on the 3rd floor.
