The Packers are heading to Seattle to battle for a spot in Superbowl 49. However, if Russell Wilson, Chandler, Lynch and the 12th man have anything to say about it they won’t get any further.
Everybody had the Cowboys picked to win against the Packers but they refused to give up. You could tell that Rodgers calf was an issue because he wasn’t himself. His throws were over and under thrown, he couldn’t throw deep, and he couldn’t scramble. It was apparent that he couldn’t get himself set in order to throw the ball deep.
However, after the half Rodgers looked a little more relaxed and like himself. The throws were a little more on target. Both teams turned the ball over but The Pack was able to edge themselves out in front just enough.
However, the fact remains that there is no way that Rodgers can walk into Seattle and play the way he did today. If that calf is bothering him the way it did today we are in trouble. As good as Lacy and Starks are we need to have the ability to be able to throw short and deep. Without that ability or chances of beating Seattle are very slim.
So, here’s to being happy we won but to hoping that by some miracle Rodgers calf heals magically over a week.
