Roughly 3 miles Northwest of where Elijah was originally reported missing, human remains were found on private property near the Girl Scout Camp Manitou. This area had been searched previously by the land owner, law enforcement and private citizens. While getting his land ready for hunting season the land owner discovered the remains and immediately contacted law enforcement. At the time the identity of the remains was unknown.
As of 430pm cst Two Rivers PD and Manitowoc Sheriff’s Department have confirmed that the remains found were that of 3 year old Elijah Vue.
We are heartbroken to share this news. We have been close to this story since the beginning as we only live down the road from his home. The whole town was pulling for this little boy and the air has been sucked out of the city.
This is an ongoing investigation and we will keep you updated with any information we see or hear.
