Rock For Autism 2015 Rocked Oshkosh
The crowd was ready for some rock n roll and to Rock for Autism 2015. A great cause that brought in some great music to Oshkosh. Acts like Sonic Circus, Eminence, Red Light Saints, Sedated, Daphni, and Stephen Pearcy (the voice of Ratt) all graced the stage to bring attention to this great cause.
Rock for Autism was started in 2013 but was originally called Apps for Autism. The event was a big success. They gave out a few iPads the day of the event and even created a grant program with the program Friends of Autism in order to award more.
In 2014 they took the event to the next level. The event had 13 amazing acts and was headlined by the dynamic BoDeans. Celebrities like Dawn Wells of Gilligan’s Island was even on hand to help spread the word of R4A. However, the weather had other ideas and rain kept alot of people indoors dampening their overall profits. However, the spirit of Rock for Autism was never dampened.
With Rock For Autism 2015Â they continued to impress with a great line-up and brought many great local bands as well as the much loved Stephen Pearcy (The Voice of Ratt).
All the acts were amazing. Daphni sounded amazing. Sonic Circus is always a joy to see. The amazing all girl rock band Eminence is something everyone needs to get out and see and Red Light Saints revved up the crowd into a frenzy for Stephen Pearcy.
This is a great cause, and your support is greatly appreciated! Please keep informed and come rock with us next year!
