With the weather warming up and the first day of spring behind us, it’s time for Festival season to begin in Illinois! Illinois is home to some pretty unique festivals. Check out these April Festivals!

Wabash Ribber Fest (Mt. Carmel), April 23-24

Calling all BBQ lovers! You will not want to miss out on this Illinois State Championship BBQ Event. Besides the awesome food attendees can enjoy a wine garden, craft/small vendors, free live entertainment, cannonball downhill derby, cornhole tournament, and a motorcycle show.

13th Annual Spores N More Mushroom Festival (Shelbyville), April 22-23

Don’t miss the Morel Mushroom Hunt! The weekend features an Mushroom Soup Dinner, Community Flea Market, and a Morel Mushroom Auction.

2016 Boneyard Arts Festival (Champaign), April 7-10

This countywide celebration features the work of hundreds of artists. More than just an arts walk, it is a true art experience! The use of all different venues from cafes to salons make this event unique.
