The Best Hamburger in Wisconsin 2018 – Anker Inn Smokehouse

Anker Inn Smokehouse in Cassville, Wisconsin was voted the ‘Best Hamburger in Wisconsin 2018’ by our readers, their customers, and our staff.

Proudly serving Cassville since 2015, Anker Inn Smokehouse offers mouthwatering BBQ including pulled pork, ribs, and brisket – all smoked in house!

The Anker Inn Smokehouse will receive a framed certificate, a FREE ‘Places’ Listing, and FREE advertising on our website throughout 2019!

HOW DID THEY EARN THIS? We here at Found In Wisconsin love to do articles with polls for people to vote…..and we also love to eat!  Between the votes and our staff only one could win!

THE BURGER: ‘COMET PUB BURGER’

*NORMALLY WE WOULD HAVE A LINK TO THE VOTING PAGE…….BUT OUR WEBSITE GOT HACKED A FEW MONTHS AGO AND IT WAS DAMAGED BEYOND REPAIR TO FIX IT. We still had access to the data from the voting and added the votes to complete the poll.

THE VOTING:

  • Over 4,100 Online Votes (of which 3,238 were unique)
  • Research By Our Staff (into customer reviews, etc.)
  • 2 Found in Wisconsin Foodies (Taste Testers) Sampled their Burgers and reported to us.

  1. So, nothing about how/when this was conducted, other “nominees,” or about the winner itself? Strikes me as an ad – any business willing to buy in becomes a “winner.”

    • Steve, this was conducted during the last few months of 2018, but our website (which was new at the time) got hacked and we had to take it offline. The data was still there, but too much of the site was ruined to save it. The voting was done by readers and fans of the places that were nominated. – To view similar voting we’ve done in the past, please look at: http://foundinwi.com (our original website before we upgraded to this format). Thank You.
