We’re not scientists, but we’re fairly certain that the World’s Largest Brat Fest can be perfectly expressed using the equation above. Brat Fest is 4 days filled with music, food and fun in the heart of downtown Madison, Wisconsin.
So, what is Brat Fest? Obviously, it’s about eating brats and enjoying good food at great prices while celebrating Wisconsin’s heritage and the people who make Madison a great place to live, but more importantly, it’s about giving back to the community. The World’s Largest Brat Fest is held every Memorial Day weekend – rain or shine – with proceeds benefiting the local charities that help to staff the event.

Memorial Weekend Corn & Brat Roast – East Troy, WI
May 24, 2014 – May 26, 2014 –
The East Troy Area Chamber of Commerce’s 38th annual Corn & Brat Roast will return on Memorial Day weekend, May 24-26.
Roasted sweet corn, brats, hot dogs, burgers, soda and beer, as well as live entertainment will lure people to the East Troy Village Square on Saturday and Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Monday, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The following entertainment lineup will take place rain or shine, with no cover charge:
Saturday, May 24 Noon-1:30 p.m. Chris Boyden
2-6 p.m. 4 Lane Hwy.
Sunday, May 25 Noon-1:30 p.m. Paulie & The Poor Boys
2-6 p.m. Liam Ford Band
Monday, May 26 1-5 p.m. Smooth Blues
The weekend events also include the Chamber’s 23rd annual Community-Wide Rummage Sale on Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Chamber and CSI Media have teamed up for sale registration for this popular event. A listing of all the rummage sales will be posted on the Chamber’s website on Wednesday, May 21, as well as published in the Walworth County Shopper Advertiser, Stateline News and Janesville Messenger. Eric Grossmeyer of AntiqueWisconsin.com will be on the village square on Saturday, May 24 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. for an “Antique Roadshow”-style antique appraisal event. Bring up to three items for appraisal.
Goodwill will provide a truck to collect leftover rummage sale items and other contributions from the community on Sunday, May 25 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in front of Martin’s Hardware-Rental & Pet, located at 3288 Main St.
Gently used household and clothing items, including electronics, can be donated to Goodwill. For safety reasons, weapons, hazardous materials and large household appliances cannot be accepted. A donation receipt will be provided for contributions.
