Packers Put The Bears Into Early Hibernation
Something happened today in an NFL game that hasn’t happened for 22 years…no team punted for the entire game.
But, It didn’t look too good for The Pack at first, however, Aaron Rodgers wasn’t going to let this week go like last week did. Aaron Rodgers threw for 302 yards and four touchdowns. The Packers (2-2) scored on their first six possessions to build up a lead to 38-17.
Rodgers completed 22 of 28 passes.
Jordy Nelson had 10 receptions for 108 yards and 2 TDs
Randall Cobb had 7 receptions for 113 yards and 2 TDs
The defense not to let the offense take all the glory, intercepted Cutler twice in the third quarter to help the offense pull away from the Bears. The first interception happened when Cutler threw to cornerback Tramon Williams and the ball ricocheted to Clay Matthews, who ran it back for 45 yards.
The second one, Cutler threw right to Sam Shields. Both interceptions led to touchdowns.
There have been 188 games played against the Packers and the Bears
In all the games Cutler has played against the Pack Cutler has thrown 11 TDs and 17 Interceptions
Rodgers has thrown 21 TDs and 8 interceptions
The next time the Pack meet the Bears will be at Lambeau November at 7:30 pm
